Downtown Houston
Every year, the US Family Health Plan Freedom Over Texas fireworks show lights up the night over downtown. Held in Eleanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou, this show is hosted by the mayor’s office and features show-stopping main-stage music and a thrilling fireworks show.
Hermann Park
Enjoy your fireworks with a dose of patriotic pops at the ExxonMobil Summer Symphony. Held at the Miller Outdoor Theatre every July, the Houston Symphony provides plenty of star-spangled tunes (and cannon blasts during the notorious 1812 overture).
CityCentre
For those in west Houston, don’t miss the fireworks at the Fourth of July Weekend at CityCentre. Music and family friendly entertainment promise fun for everyone.
The Woodlands
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion hosts a Star-Spangled Salute with the Houston Symphony each July. The free event brings Houstonians from near and far to celebrate our nation’s independence. Find more July 4th fireworks in the Woodlands at Town Green Park and Waterway Square. The Red, Hot, & Blue Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza provides entertainment during the day and lights up the sky at night.
Galveston Bay
Make the drive to Galveston Bay to see the famed Fourth of July Celebration at Kemah Boardwalk. It’s an event filled with live music, great food, and, once the sun goes down, a jaw-dropping show of fireworks blasting over the bay.
Tomball
Tomball’s Fourth of July Celebration begins with a street party and ends with a giant fireworks display. Come hungry—you won’t want to miss the festival food.
Galveston
Enjoy your Fourth of July fireworks with a Gulf view in Galveston. The Galveston Island Fourth of July Celebration includes a beachfront parade and fireworks over the Gulf.
